Avenue of the Illustrious Men

Avenue of the Illustrious Men
The Avenue of the Illustrious Men is located on the North-East side of the City. It is one of the oldest and most traditional avenues of the capital, adorned by a dense forest that welcomes you with the “Dr. Faustino Miranda” Museum and Botanical Garden. Crossing the avenue, on a walk of approximately 150 m, you will find the Regional Museum of Anthropology and History, and almost in front of it the Eliseo Palacios Aguilera Paleontology Museum. At the end of the avenue is the Emilio Rabasa City Theater.
Along this illustrative avenue, modern playful fountains refresh the visitor's stroll, which has become a favorite spot for children.
